At The MissionNOLA, our mission is to offer hope and support through engagement with families and youth in the Lower Ninth Ward. We understand the neighborhood — its story, its strength, its untapped potential — and we're building programs designed to help residents increase belief in themselves and build the lives they're creating.
We do this through the Money Lab — financial literacy for families across generations — through Family Meetings connecting the community to professional resources, through engagement gatherings that strengthen our neighborhood, and through vocal music programs that celebrate culture and build creative confidence.
Our vision: to help every member of this community increase belief in themselves and improve their quality of life through financial literacy, healthy living, and culture.

We equip youth and families with financial literacy, professional knowledge, and community connection — building the foundation for generational wealth and self-determination in the Lower Ninth Ward.
Who We Serve
The Lower Ninth Ward in the City of New Orleans is our core focus and investment. We understand this neighborhood's history, resilience, and barriers families face daily. We build programs that help residents take control of their futures, access professional resources, and strengthen community bonds.
